Quip Shed Comedy
Joe Foster is a stand-up comedian from Brighton with a sharp, dry wit and likeable persona which has established him as a firm favourite with audiences around the country. In 2015, Joe won the Fosters South Coast Comedian Of The Year Competition which cemented his reputation as one of the fresh new voices on the UK comedy circuit. He has since established himself on the comedy circuit with a bright future ahead.
Alex MacKieth won the 2020 Musical Comedy Awards and took his debut solo show, Thanks for Listening, to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2022. Chortle described the show as 'rich in humour and musicality... Funny, atmospheric, sometimes gently ludicrous, sometimes rooted in reality and sometimes a little of both.' It enjoyed a sellout run and transferred to London's Soho Theatre, with the live recording now available on Spotify. Alex was a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards 2023.
Jess Fostekew is a comedian, actor and writer whose stand up show, Hench was nominated for the 2019 Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show. It's now available as a stand up special on Amazon Prime and has been adapted into the BBC R4 stand up special - Sturdy Girl Club which has been commissioned for a second series.
Jess has appeared on numerous entertainment shows such as, BBC2's Live at The Apollo, QI, Richard Osman's House Of Games and many more. She is also a regular co-host of The Guilty Feminist (podcast with 60 million+ downloads) and host and creator of foodie hit and new chart-topping pod, "Hoovering" (recommended in the Guardian and The Independent).
