Toast The Royal Couple

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement, we have been planning how best to mark the occasion and our Royal Wedding-inspired cocktails are just the ticket…

Priced at £8 per cocktail, “The Markle Sparkle” & “The Ginger Royale” are the perfect way to toast the soon-to-be-wed couple. Celebrate the eagerly awaiting big day and raise a glass or two with us until 20th May at any Bel & The Dragon.

Alternatively, toast the happy Prince and his bride from the comfort of your own home with our easy to recreate recipes. Just double the ingredients to serve you & your loved one…

“The Markle Sparkle” 

  • 25ml Sipsmith Vodka
  • 12.5ml Monin Rose syrup
  • Dash Fee Brothers rhubarb bitters
  • 5ml Crème de Framboise
  • 100ml Prosecco
  • Orange peel twist
  • Rose petals 

Add all ingredients, except the Prosecco, to a champagne flute then top with Prosecco and stir to mix. Garnish with a twist of orange peel, sliced to sit on the rim of the glass. Add three petals to sit in the ‘cup’ of the peel.

“The Ginger Royale”

  • 50ml Aperol
  • 12.5ml lime juice
  • 12.5ml Monin rose syrup
  • 50ml Prosecco
  • 50ml Fevertree Ginger Ale

Add the Aperol, lime juice, rose syrup and ginger ale to a Brandy balloon glass over ice then stir to mix. Fill ice to brim and top with Prosecco. Garnish with a wheel of dried blood orange or grapefruit and a twist of orange.
