Bel & The Dragon has teamed up with Quip Shed Comedy to bring you a Bel-ly Full of Laughs.
For our first Comedy Night, we have an incredible line-up featuring Josh Elton, Joe Wells, Tom Little, and host Lyle Barke!
Josh Elton is a comedic force to be reckoned with! With over seven years of experience and an impressive portfolio of over a thousand gigs on the Welsh comedy circuit, Josh has established himself as a true talent in the industry. Josh’s unique blend of high-energy performance, raucous humor, and bilingual abilities sets him apart from the crowd. As a Jewish comedian, he brings a fresh perspective and a wealth of cultural insight to his sets, captivating audiences of all backgrounds. Whether he’s delivering rapid-fire punchlines or engaging in playful banter with the crowd, Josh’s stage presence is electrifying!
Joe Wells is a neurodivergent writer, comedian and podcaster. His writing career began when his first book 'Touch and Go Joe' about his experiences of OCD was published, since then he has made a name for himself as a stand up comic, writer and speaker. He has supported Frankie Boyle, Alexei Sayle and Stephen K Amos. In 2020 Joe went viral with his stand up clip 'Joe Wells on having a non-autistic brother' which gained over 4.5 million views across Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Joe co-hosts the Neurodivergent Moments podcast and, in 2022, his second book, ‘Wired Differently; 30 Neurodivergent People Who You Should Know’ was published. Joe has written for Have I Got News For You and Frankie Boyle's New World Order, and this year, Joe embarked on his first solo tour selling out venues of up to 300.
Tom Little is already an award-winning comedian having been a finalist in the coveted BBC New Comedy Award 2014, and then he won the title of Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2015 which firmly cemented his billing as ‘rising star.’ His 2018 Edinburgh show was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award. He also performed in the Pleasance Comedy Reserve and the Just The Tonic: Big Value showcases at the Edinburgh Fringe. His most recent Edinburgh Festival show in 2019 Tom Little – Chronically Underachieving Loser And Wasteman received rave reviews.
