June: British Lamb

Give a cheer for June is here and summer is taking shape. So many lovely ingredients are in season like soft berries, peas, artichokes and shellfish, we’re spoilt for choice. One of my favourite dishes for spring & summer is lamb chops cooked on the BBQ with a really quick and simple green salad made from whatever is in the garden. Peas, broad beans, artichoke, asparagus & pea shoots are particularly good with a generous handful of fresh mint. In the kitchen this month I will be searing Spring Lamb on our Josper Grill, otherwise known as the king of indoor BBQs, and serving alongside Heritage Carrots & Broccolini.
