Easter Bake Off
Rolling pins at the ready. Bake-off returns to Bel & The Dragon Cookham this Easter Saturday. Keen bakers of any age are invited to compete for the coveted crown and create the ultimate cake to put in front of our panel of guest judges.
Prizes will be up for grabs including; Family Sunday lunch for four people, a magnum of wine & for younger bakers a chance to cook with Group Head Chef Ronnie Kimbugwe. While we sift out the best local bakers, guests are invited to stay and enjoy lunch prepared by our talented team.
- Easter Theme – Biscuits, Cakes & Cupcakes
- Age Groups – Up to 12 & 13 plus
- We must receive all entries between 11am – 11:30am on the day.
- Judging to take place at 11:30am
- First Prize (Adult) -Sunday Lunch for 4
- Runner-Up Prize (Adult) – Magnum of Oliver Leflaive Red Burgundy
- First Prize (Children) – Childs Cookery Class by Ronnie with up to 8 Friends
- Second Prize (Children) – Bumper Hamper of Goodies
£5 per entry – all proceeds will go to Thames Hospice.
No need to register in advance, just turn up on the day with your baked goods and your entry fee. Entrants will be split into younger & older bakers for judging and are welcome to sell their creation for charity on the day at £5 each or take home to enjoy. The choice is yours, all we ask is that you please support a worthy cause…
Thames Hospice is a local charity providing expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. They care for the physical, social and psychological needs of their patients, not just the condition. A highly skilled medical team works with the patient, their family and carers, to develop a complete programme of care tailored to their individual needs. It costs more than £7million every year to keep their Hospice running. They rely on 80% of their income from charitable donations, which enables them to provide their services free of charge, 365 days a year, to the people who need them.
Bel & The Dragon must receive all entries between 11am – 11:30am on the day. We encourage bakers of any age but any entrants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Terms & conditions apply.
