For our first supper club of 2017, we are delighted to have partnered with renowned Champagne House Laurent-Perrier. Founded in 1812 by Monsieur Laurent, Laurent-Perrier has been avant-garde in creating unique and elegant Champagne for nearly 200 years making it one of the world’s most esteemed Champagne Houses and also the largest family owned brand.

Join us for a supper club to remember this February where you’ll get the chance to not only try some amazing food and Champagne but also have a fun and interactive evening with friends new & old. Enjoy a Champagne tasting of the Ultra Brut, Brut & Cuvée Rosé with nibbles, followed by a delectable supper created by our Group Head Chef Ronnie Kimbugwe.

Our menu is £60 per person* and available on the following days across all seven sites:

  • Wednesday 1st February – Cookham (Hosted by Danny Borchert from Laurent-Perrier)
  • Wednesday 8th February – Godalming, Odiham, Kingsclere, Reading & Windsor
  • Thursday 9th February – Churt (Hosted by Simone Botti from Laurent-Perrier)

*48-hours advance booking & non-refundable £10 deposit per person required.

Danny Borchert started his career in the world of spirits at Bacardi-Martini. He moved to a specialist tea brand sourcing rare teas from Asia, working exclusively with Michelin-starred restaurants and five-star hotels creating bespoke tea ceremonies. He then left to join the world of champagne and hasn’t looked back. As an ambassador for Laurent-Perrier he looks after key restaurant and hotel accounts for this prestigious Champagne House.

Simone Botti started his career in wine working as store manager for the beloved Oddbins after some time in hospitality. He made the jump to wholesale working for the family run importer and distributor Moreno Wines. Some of his fellow Italians say “he sold his soul to the devil when he started working for the French!”. Simon is now very proud and loving being part of Laurent-Perrier, an industry leading family owned business.
