Yesterday evening, Bel & The Dragon auctioned a mouth-watering selection of Bordeaux, Burgundies and a whole host of other wonderful wines from all over the world. Over fifty guests, including a number of wine experts & journalists, congregated in our converted 18 Century church, located in the picturesque town of Godalming.
Guests were invited to peruse and bid on a superb collection of silent auction items before tucking into a delicious two-course supper including our signature rotisserie Roasted Suckling Pig and Gooey Gluten-Free Chocolate Nemesis. The 10-lot live auction that followed featured a selection of the very best crus, vineyards, producers & vintages and a Balthazar of Laurent-Perrier also came under the hammer. Burgundy lovers relished the sight of Montrachet – considered one of the world’s finest wine vineyards.
