Crack out the mulled wine and mince pies, September has arrived and it is time to look ahead to the festive season. We all know that finding the perfect turkey is the first step to any memorable Christmas. Whether you are joining us as a party of two or twelve, Bel & The Dragon have just the bird to crown your table over the festive period…

Turkey is one of those meats that is traditionally eaten at Thanksgiving and Christmas. However, I believe it can & should be eaten throughout the year. Bronze, Traditional White and Norfolk Black are the most popular breeds.  

We source our turkeys from organic & free range farmers that treat their birds like royalty, allowing them to romp about in the open countryside for months on end. We love the moist and flavoursome turkeys reared by the Copas family, located in Cookham. Their advertising strapline is Very Very Special and it has to be said that they produce an exceptional meat – a far cry from mass-produced poultry.
